Hniang Khamh, Ph.D. (Founder & Principal Consultant)

With over a decade of experience in the world of Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR), Hniang has built her career at the intersection of cutting-edge science and strategic sales. Her journey began during doctoral research at NC State University, where she explored the fundamentals of SPR and pioneered applications extending into the infrared region of the spectrum. From there, she joined Bruker as a Field Service and then later as Field Application Scientist for their SPR Department, supporting researchers worldwide with technical expertise and hands-on problem solving.

She later advanced to Nicoya Lifesciences, where she served as Manager of Field Application Scientists, leading and mentoring a technical sales team. To broaden her expertise, she transitioned to HEL Group, immersing herself in the world of instrumentation sales and gaining a deep understanding of the sales cycle, client engagement, and sales strategy.

Today, Hniang brings together the best of both worlds, scientific expertise and sales strategy, through her consultancy, Selling Science. Her mission is to deliver results-oriented, highly collaborative projects, empowering biotech and instrumentation companies to innovate, grow, and ultimately accelerate drug discovery. At the heart of her work is a desire to build a community passionate about biophysics, where science and business come together to drive meaningful impact on human health.
